Ben's twenty-two years of experience includes three years as NATO's Lead Air Planner for Afghanistan Operations (International Security Assistance Force) focusing on strategy, leadership structures, and operations; three years as an Instructor and Assistant Professor at the United States Air Force Academy where he taught National Security and researched civil-military relations and armed groups; and sixteen years in operations, scheduling and training. He has worked with the governments and people of twenty-eight nations and has lectured and presented at numerous distinguished institutions to include the Technion (Israel), Tufts University, The Belgian War College, and the University of Colorado. Susan spent six years in the educational systems of Washington, California, Idaho, Texas, and New Mexico. She lived abroad for seven years where she held fundraising, planning, and leadership roles in several international organizations. She has conducted research in Disaster Recovery, Turkish Civil-Military Affairs, the situation in Darfur, and Developing Economic Microsystems.
